I was able to remap RE4 to my liking thanks to the configuration tool on the PC.
The controls are comfortable (not perfect as you still have some issues) but, I could hold the left button to aim, and hit X to shoot, which felt very comfortable.
Aiming sucked in RE4 though as you had a "jitter" effect to make it feel more realistic (have you tried to hold a shotgun and aim, and not move in the slightest?), and because of that jitter, it would go off target, but it works as you "upgrade" the weapon.
The aiming really is smooth in RE5, so that should alleviate some combat issues.
And thanks for the heads up on weapon slotting.
THANK GOD for that!

CheersElementalistlyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17536627257855895757noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3647535028551977680.post-17661703539354008682009-01-29T08:37:00.000-05:002009-01-29T08:37:00.000-05:00One of the demo reviews I read said our current de...One of the demo reviews I read said our current demo is an older demo for the media and he was surprised it wasn't the newer demo which *does* have item hotslots like you're talking about. Although the CRAPTASTIC control is still there.

Ya know, if all these damn games look for a hdd/memcard to save our games why don't they let us remap the controls the way we want?Talynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17848472705380445923noreply@blogger.com
