Ardwulf cleans up...

Why don't we all do it...make some major choices...shall we?

Election year calls for change does it not?

What game is your "Tough Decision". Who do you vote off the island...uh...computer..

For me, it was easy.

Vanguard and LOTRO have been permanently removed.

If you have been hemming and hawing over some game, make the right choice, clean up that hard drive and save a platter.

Is there a game you can finally say "Know what? I am not going to EVER play that" and permanently delete it?

I just bought a new hard drive so that I wouldn't have to start deleting games. Never know when impulse may take over and I don't want to be patching for hours and hours at a time just to give a game a shot for a month.

Before I got the extra space though, WoW was the game to go, and not because I don't enjoy the game - I do enjoy aspects of it. But compared to everything else it was pretty low in the pile.

I should get to deleting Cronous. I need to give Florensia one more chance, though.

And I probably won't do anything with Pi Story and Nexus, Kingdom of Winds, as much as I want to.

*Imagines the multitude of icons cluttering Tipas desktop now...

You can do it Brenda...Willpower M'Lady! Willpower!

@Stargrace

Yet each game installed takes up precious clusters of the drive that forces the head to read multitudes of bytes, using precious electricity (at least $0.012 cents per year)

I got a new computer a few weeks ago, so I just avoided to reinstall the games I do not play currently ;)

EQ2, Vanguard, WoW, AOC, LOTRO, a bunch of Korean/Asian games are titles that I had deleted on the previous computer though. I do not have much problem with deleting games, I always have a backup or some install files somewhere anyway.

EQ1 was probably the first game I deleted. Though honestly, if I could get the same feeling I used to get when I first played it, I would totally go back.

Lineage 2 was the next to go. I had recently given it a shot, and the graphics and gameplay were just awful. I would rather play Perfect World International if I was going the Korean Grinder route.

Age of Conan is dead to me. Almost everything in that game was off for me. A major no no for me is that no matter what you do, you can't look good. You're always dirty, or homely and covered in war paint. Which is fine for some people, but man. Whats the point of playing a game to escape day to day life and being ugly? lol.

WoW was something I went back to once. I remembered having so much fun trying to get through an instance with just my Jae and my brother. So much fun. Eventually the leveling slowed down and we couldn't get to any new instances. (What is with that 40-50 lull?) It has since been super deleted. If only to not give Blizzard my number in their 7-10 million subscribers.

Now this makes me laugh

A major no no for me is that no matter what you do, you can't look good.

Yet you are playing...WAR...

Cmon, that was a bad excuse....

I will assume you mean clothing and not visual looks...as I would rather have this

Conan

than this

WAR

WAR does look good, if you enjoy the art style, just as AoC looks good if you enjoy the style there.

Beauty is the in the eye of the beholder, right? Not the D&D Beholder, but more the Twilight Zone version. ;)

*Just had to make sure I selected the right images*

"Okey doke man!"

The graphics in Age of Conan are very crisp. However, no matter what you do, you're wearing mud or dirt covered clothes.

In WAR once you get out of your first starter clothes, you have normal clothing. No dirt, mud, or blood to be seen. Plus, as a Dark Elf Sorceress, you're mostly naked. Wearing something that wouldn't even stay up in real life.

In AoC, you're wearing a far too realistic bland leather shirt/skirt combo. Horrible. WAR has a style to it's character models. AoC just looks real. In a time period when people did not look good lol.

Again, I beg to differ...guess it takes time, like getting off Tortage to make a difference...

Amatheon

Tetlana

Ishtarii

But, I do agree with the real part!

I have to admit those are some really nice armor designs. Suppose its just not my style. I actually had a level 20 HoX. Apparently I missed that Desert Raider gear.
